Greetings from the hay barn

Although I have been around horses a great deal of my life, my first opportunity to have my own little farm came at the end of 2002. Since then, I have worked to bring the farm back to a useful life while keeping all the old buildings and protecting the great trees.  

Now I am living the dream...giant trees, big old barns, a bunch of horses and my little minidonkeys...all on our little bit of paradise.  Lots of work, but lots of happiness and fresh air as a reward!

February 2003	Horseplay Farm NC was purchased.
Summer 2008	Still going strong! There are now 8 horse boarders plus the little mini-donkey herd.  Each morning I wake to the "feed me!" bray of Mason, the jack donkey, and each evening ends with the happy munching of horsie mouths.  In between, the horse owners and I have a great time riding and grooming our beautiful friends.  Ah-h-h, a little bit of paradise!
